Cool Ventilated Casing

A kiln's heat belongs in the firing chamber. Woodrow combines insulation with a ventilated casing to help manage heat around the outside of the kiln and its control components.

Models with fan-forced case ventilation move air around the casing to help carry heat away. This is separate from extracting firing fumes from the chamber: your kiln room still needs appropriate ventilation, and some installations may benefit from a dedicated extraction system.

The casing can still become hot during firing. Keep the specified clearances around your kiln, keep vents unobstructed and follow the operating instructions for your model. Ask our team if you would like help planning the space.
